Bark

We have created BARK, a reading program, for use in elementary schools. We travel to local elementary schools to help young students develop critical skills.

“BARK” is a program that encourages children to increase and improve their reading skills and self-confidence by reading out loud to therapy dogs. Students love to read to these non-judgmental, calming dogs.

Our volunteers work weekly during the school year with 2 to 4 students. It is a big commitment but one with amazing results. We currently work in approximately 20 schools
